Today colour has been introduced into our drawings with an ink colour wash for tone and depth. Dry than apply charcoal for lines and more depth. Not easy but a fair attempt.
Finding inspiration in everything from travel, nature and even a shopping catalogues, I am exploring many art mediums. I have always used the "right side" of my brain but lack formal training so I explore ideas and listen to tutorials on the net. I work at anything but a zen approach determined to create and explore at breakneck speed. I am burdened with a 1000 ideas and am happiest when exploring the creative medium of the day.

The theme for the exchange was "it's a sign" so I developed a crossing sign for Sketchbook Project . It came about when we hosted an American at our home. He was keen to see kangaroos and we went looking at sunset. So many crossed in front of us as they jumped to a waterhole, it was an impressive sight it was also a sign that the drought had broken.
Can't wait to see what I get in return.

This week I set up a small display at a local market
It was the quietest day of the year for markets as most people go away for Easter. But I sold one piece and also sat in the sun drawing a nice portrait of David!
